Zusammenfassung

Medical City Denton is recruiting an Acute Care Occupational Therapist to support patients regaining independence after illness or injury. You will evaluate needs, craft individualized care plans, and deliver hands‑on, evidence‑based therapy with a multidisciplinary team.

This role offers Monday–Friday shifts (7–10 hour days) with rotating weekends and a sign‑on bonus up to $10k. A Texas OTR license and BLS/AHA certification are required, with opportunities for professional growth within HCA

Qualifikationen

• Experience with geriatric and adult patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions required.
• Texas OTR license, BLS required, AHA or ARC.
• (OTR) Occupational Therapist Registered, or (OT) Occupational Therapist.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized therapy plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver evidence‑based interventions to promote healing, independence and quality of life.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding and engagement in recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners for safe transitions of care and patient experience.
• Provide guidance to therapy assistants or students and uphold mission and values.
