Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking an Acute Care Occupational Therapist to provide bedside rehabilitation, helping patients regain independence through personalized evaluations and hands-on treatment within a structured inpatient environment.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, evaluate and document progress, coordinate discharge planning, and ensure compliance with licensing and safety policies; bachelor’s degree required and state OT license; BLS as per policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy is required.
• Applicable state OT license required.
• BLS certification per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct therapy services to acute care patients 7 days a week, including holidays.
• Evaluates patients and develops individualized care plans with modalities and education.
• Documents evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, and charges.
• Communicates findings to physicians and coordinates discharge planning with the team.
• Maintains accurate patient records and billing-related documentation.
