Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking an Acute Care Occupational Therapist to provide one-on-one bedside rehabilitation. You will assess patients, develop customized care plans, and deliver hands-on treatment within an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, an active OT license, and BLS certification, with 40 hours per week on 1st shift Monday–Friday and rotation for weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct therapy services to patients seven days a week, including holidays, in acute care / rehabilitation settings.
• Evaluates patients, selects assessment techniques, and develops care plans with modalities, exercise programs, and patient education.
• Gathers and interprets data from medical records and family, documenting progress.
• Communicates evaluations and progress to physicians and care team; coordinates scheduling and discharge planning.
• Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, discharge notes, and related charges.
