Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join a community-centered hospital team in Yuma, AZ. The OT will evaluate and treat patients to restore function and independence, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in an acute care Level II setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program and licensed in Arizona.
• Active Arizona OT license (or eligibility) and BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programs.
• Train patients in the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise COTAs according to care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Document evaluations and progress in EPIC EMR.
