Job summary

MultiCare Covington Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan and implement therapy services for patients referred for occupational therapy. You will contribute to a varied day-to-day workflow with a service orientation and good judgment to ensure comprehensive care.

The position supports both inpatient and outpatient services, with an emphasis on collaboration within a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Licensure in Washington and prior OT experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• State of Washington Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Minimum one (1) year of previous experience in occupational therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan and modify it as needed.
• Perform treatment interventions for inpatient and outpatient populations as directed.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and other health professionals to coordinate care.
