Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a PRN position in acute care. The role focuses on evaluating functional abilities, developing individualized plans, and delivering hands-on interventions to restore independence and quality of life.

You will work with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, documenting progress and educating patients and families throughout recovery. This opportunity requires an AOTA-accredited OT degree, active NBCOT registration, Colorado OT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited OT program with a bachelor, master or doctorate.
• Maintains NBCOT registration.
• Active Colorado OT license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Clinical rotation or work experience in acute care settings.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans with providers.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote healing, independence and quality of life.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding and engagement in recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners for seamless transitions of care.
• Lead by example and mentor therapy assistants or students.
