Job summary

HCA HealthONE in Lone Tree, CO is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence with individualized, evidence-based therapy. You will collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team to evaluate needs, develop care plans, and provide hands-on treatment to support recovery at every stage.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, ongoing assessment, thorough documentation, and mentorship of therapy assistants and students within a purpose-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited program with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Maintains current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Maintains active Colorado Occupational Therapy license.
• Maintains current BLS certification for Health Care Providers.
• 2 years experience preferred in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote healing, independence, and quality of life.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed with thorough documentation.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding and engagement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Lead by example and mentor therapy assistants or students.

Education

Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (AOTA accredited program)

Colorado OT license

NBCOT certification

BLS certification

2 years experience preferred
