Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled services in an acute care setting, including orthopedic, surgical, oncology, cardiac, and general medical patient care.

You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, collaborate with healthcare teams, and document interventions. A Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred, and a valid OT license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Valid Occupational Therapist license required.
• Experience and supervisory experience are not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Establish and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and discharge goals.
• Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers; recommend specialist referrals as needed.
• Delegate tasks to assistants, techs, and students, ensuring appropriate skill level and competency.
• Complete accurate documentation according to departmental policies.
• Conduct assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services.
