Job summary

UCLA Outpatient Clinics is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in an acute care hospital setting. Under the supervision of department leadership, you will assess patient needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and document care in accordance with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, maintain productivity standards, and float to other hospital locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Providing therapeutic interventions to support patients' functional goals and recovery.
• Completing timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintaining expected productivity and quality standards.
• Participating in department and hospital initiatives as needed.
• Floating to other hospital locations to provide coverage, as required.
