Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to support adult inpatient care in a busy acute setting. The role involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to assess patients, develop and adjust treatment plans, and document progress during hospitalization.

An OT Master’s degree and state licensure are required, with BLS certification and 0–1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide care to adult med/surg patients, with majority in general and complex medical, post-op orthopedics, post-op general and vascular surgery, and other areas as needed (such as ICU, Emergency Department).
• Perform examinations/evaluations, develop plans of care, provide recommendations for ongoing therapy needs during hospitalization and post-discharge.
• Perform and apply interventions during follow-up visits.
• Independently manage a patient assignment.
• Strong willingness to collaborate with fellow occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other care team members.
