Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Completion of supervised fieldwork (Level I & Level II).
• Passing NBCOT exam to become an OTR.
• Licensure application for NM OT license and annual CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train patients in use.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies for daily living.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress reports.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated care.
