Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan seeks a Nursing Administrator to plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and education programs within the hospital. You will help develop policies, manage budgets, and oversee patient care operations.

The role requires a NYS RN license, a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing with significant supervisory experience, and BLS may be required depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating nursing services and education programs.
• Develop policies, objectives and standards of nursing service and education.
• Assist in the preparation of personnel, supply and equipment budgets.
• Assist in administrative procedures and programs of patient care.
• May supervise nursing service in a major clinical division or home health agency in a hospital.
