Essentia Health in Duluth, MN seeks an acute care supervisor to lead nursing operations in the Emergency Department. You will oversee staffing, coordinate patient care transitions, and partner with physicians and teams to uphold quality metrics and safe, efficient care.

The role requires a BSN or BAN, at least two years of ED experience (including charge and triage), and current RN licensure. Strong leadership, communication, and adherence to standards are essential.

Competenze

• BSN or BAN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience; ED experience with charge and triage preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership experience.
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment; BCLS certification maintained.

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day ED nursing operations, ensuring appropriate staffing and guidance to maintain high-quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and accreditation standards.
• Oversee performance review of registered nurses and patient care support staff.
• Act as liaison between nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families to optimize outcomes.
