Job summary

West Henderson Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced acute setting.

The role requires a BSN, Nevada RN license, and recent experience in cardiovascular care with proficiency in EKG interpretation and arrhythmia management. This full-time days position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within VHS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN required.
• Minimum of one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification. ACLS, PALS, NRP and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to achieve safe, optimal outcomes.
• Lead and support healthcare staff to meet facility goals.
• Demonstrate patient-centered care and service excellence.
• Supervise staff under your supervision.
