Job summary

Valley Health Specialty Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for full-time day shifts in Las Vegas. You will plan and provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients, coordinate a multidisciplinary team, and support the hospital's mission of exceptional patient-centered care.

The role requires BSN, Nevada RN license with BLS, and 1 year of acute care experience (3 years part-time acceptable). Supervisory duties and cardiovascular knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN is required.
• Minimum 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care nursing; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current Nevada RN license with BLS; ACLS, PALS, NRP or related specialty training required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility and provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members and guides nursing staff to safe, optimal outcomes.
• Supports the facility's vision and goals and demonstrates service excellence at all times.
• Provides leadership and oversight to employees under supervision.
