Job summary

Louisville Pulmonary Care is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pulmonary and Critical Care team in Louisville, KY. The role covers day, night and weekend shifts in a rotating schedule to meet patient needs.

Qualified candidates hold a KY license as an ACNP or PA-C with ICU experience and board certification, along with DEA registration and BLS/ACLS. Competitive compensation ranges from $120,000 to $150,000 annually, with disability insurance, retirement

Responsibilities

Job description

Louisville Pulmonary Care (LPC) is seeking a dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/AGACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our established Pulmonary and Critical Care practice.

Schedule:

• Combination of day, night, and weekend coverage.
• Rotating shifts based on practice and patient care needs.

Qualifications:

• Current Kentucky license as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Board Certification (ACNP, AGACNP, PA-C, or equivalent) with ICU experience or equivalent.
• Current DEA registration with prescriptive authority.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in Critical Care, ICU, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, or Hospital Medicine.
• Experience with ventilator management.
• Management of acute respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, and other critically ill patient populations.
• Familiarity with ICU procedures and evidence-based critical care practices.
• Experience performing bedside procedures is preferred.
