Job summary

The RN will manage care for an assigned patient group, collaborate with care teams, and maintain competency using evidence-based guidelines and hospital policies. The role emphasizes patient safety, ongoing learning, and adherence to nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Manages care of an assigned group of patients in line with hospital philosophy and policies.
• Demonstrates clinical competency and uses the nursing process to adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Operates unit-based patient care technology and hospital information systems.
• Precepts new employees and students; supports ongoing professional development.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient safety activities.
