Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and Georgia law. The nurse will manage care for an assigned patient group, coordinate with the care team, and uphold evidence-based practice standards.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN licensure, and BLS certification, with preferred BSN and additional life-support credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical practice competency and self-directed goal setting for complex patients/families.
• Provides safe, evidence-based patient care and communicates with the care team.
• Implements nursing process and uses unit-based information systems.
• Serves as preceptor for new employees and students.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and patient safety initiatives.
