Job summary

Northside Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse who will independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients under physician orders and guidelines, in line with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires a Georgia RN license in good standing and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a BSN, two years of RN experience, and additional life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or unit-specific certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Operate within the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other members of the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient status and respond to needs with safety and compassion.
