Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Education, or related healthcare field.
• Active RN license in the State of Massachusetts.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience with 1 year in preceptor/charge nurse roles.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
• Frequent use of computer and educational equipment; reading of printed materials.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to performance evaluations and staff scheduling in collaboration with the Director.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates staff development and educational activities for assigned area(s).
• Designs and coordinates orientation, in-service, and continuing education programs for nursing staff.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient-centered education and safety.
• Maintains data, records, and statistics for regulatory and evaluation purposes.
