Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within the RN Practice Act. You will use therapeutic communication, maintain a safe environment and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team.

You will assess patient needs, administer meds, change dressings, monitor vital signs, document in computerized systems, and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team. Acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing
• Current Licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing
• Current BLS
• One year of registered nurse experience required
• Acute Care RN experience preferred

• You will administer prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signs.
• You will monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.

• You will identify nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient and plan individualized patient care utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.
