Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program.
• Current license and registration to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant as required in Maine.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Acute Care NP/PA or Palliative Medicine training program certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides inpatient palliative care consultation services in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborates with the Palliative Care team to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Educates staff and contributes to culture transformation for primary palliative care.
