Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
• Certification as Acute Care NP or Acute Care CNS by AACN or ANCC.
• BCLS/ACLS certifications per American Heart Association.
• PA-C license in state of practice and NCCPA certification.
• Eligible for Prescriptive Authority as per State Board.
• 0 years experience required; preferred 3 years in related work.

Responsibilities

• Uses approved medical practices process for patient care delivery.
• Provides patient care considering physical, psycho-social, educational needs.
• Educates patients, families, staff and community about care.
• Adapts communication for diverse patient populations and respects privacy.
• Performs other related duties as required.
