The New York State Department of Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care) to provide primary health care in collaboration with a licensed physician in a complex care setting. You will assess residents’ physical and psychosocial status using interviews, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests.

You will diagnose illnesses, perform therapeutic measures, and conduct employee health examinations per protocol.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner certification and valid NY registration.
• Preferred experience in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care in collaboration with a licensed physician.
• Assess residents' physical and psychosocial status via interview, health history, and exam.
