Job summary
BAS Healthcare, Inc. invites applications for a 12-month fellowship in advanced practice providers (APPs), including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, at multiple facilities in the greater Boston area.
The program develops expertise in evaluating illnesses, histories, and comprehensive clinical care with rotations through main and partner sites. Applicants must be graduates of ACCREDITED PA programs with NCCPA board registration or Master's in Nursing (AGACNP certification preferred
Qualifications
- Physician Assistant graduates must have NCCPA board registration.
- Nurse Practitioner graduates must have a Master's in Nursing; AGACNP certification preferred.
- Massachusetts licensure for APPs is required; ACLS certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Assess acute and chronic illnesses and obtain medical histories.
- Perform physical examinations and order tests.
- Formulate diagnosis and treatment plans and seek consults as needed.
- Prescribe and dispense medications; provide patient and family counseling.
- Rotate through campus, satellite, and partner locations across shifts.
- Attend didactic classes and educational experiences during the fellowship.
