Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, prepare and position patients, and assist radiologists in high-acuity ICU, ED, Stroke and Trauma settings in Topeka, Kansas.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year MRI experience, ARRT MRI (preferred) and Radiography ARRT, plus BLS within 90 days. This full-time position is on-site with a 36-hour week and day shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of MRI experience is required.
• ARRT MRI certification preferred; Radiography ARRT is required.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and position patients for imaging in ICU, ED, stroke and trauma cases.
• Assist radiologist during examinations and prepare patients with pacemakers for SafeScan as needed.
• Set up anesthesia monitoring for sedated MRI exams and maintain image quality and safety.
• Maintain MRI equipment and document daily logs and tests.
