Qualifications

• 1 year MRI experience preferred.

Job description

Job Title: MRI Technologist

Join Stormont Vail Health as an MRI Technologist.

Overview: Operate MRI equipment and perform MRI procedures in a hospital setting, including high acuity ICU, ED, Stroke, and Trauma patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform MRI procedures by preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging.
2. Assist radiologists during examinations and procedures.
3. Prepare patients with pacemakers for MRI exams, including SafeScan mode setup.
4. Assist anesthesiologists with MRI exams on sedated patients, setting up anesthesia equipment.
5. Maintain knowledge of MRI-compatible IV pumps for medication transfer.
6. Measure and administer contrast media.
7. Adhere to all policies, standards, and training requirements of Stormont Vail Health.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1 year MRI experience (preferred).
• ARRT certification in MRI (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
