Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care on the Med Surg Unit. You will interact with patients, families and the health care team to develop and implement the plan of care.

The RN works with fellow nurses and support staff to improve patient outcomes, care quality, and staff satisfaction. State RN license and CPR required; Ohio CE requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the relevant state.
• Current CPR training; specialized unit certifications as required.
• Ohio RN continuing education: 24 contact hours during licensure period, with at least 1 hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care plan and coordinate with patient, family, and health care team.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with fellow nurses and support staff to improve patient care and staff satisfaction.
