Mount Carmel in Columbus, OH, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (12 Hour Day Shift). The RN will provide comprehensive care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborating with a team to deliver patient-centered care across physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, documentation accuracy, and adherence to organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience are enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives, and maintains professionalism in nursing practice.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care for an assigned group of patients, collaborates with patient and family to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Communicates pertinent information to team members in a timely manner and keeps patient/family updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes per standards and policies.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed caregivers as appropriate.
