Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Administers medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Maintains accurate documentation of care, interventions, and observations in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families on health maintenance and post-discharge care.
• Supports infection control and safety standards in all procedures.
• Assists with basic procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection within scope.
• Participates in orientation and training of new staff or nursing students.
