The LPN conducts assessments, administers medications, and helps implement care plans to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. The role requires strong knowledge of nursing principles, clinical judgment, and adherence to safety, infection control, and state regulations.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license required
• BCLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• 0–1 year of LPN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, monitor vitals, assist with ADLs.
• Administer medications and injections per policy.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Document care in medical records accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge care.
• Support infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist with wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection as scoped.
• Participate in orientation and training of staff.
