Arkansas Heart Hospital is seeking an LPN/Medical Assistant to support clinical teams in patient care within the patient-focused care system. You will assist with arterial/venous sheath removal, catheterization, IVs, EKGs, urine tests, and routine duties under physician or RN supervision.

The role requires an LPN or MA certification, BLS within 30 days, and basic EKG skills within 6 months. Prior EMR experience preferred and six months of patient care in any setting may be required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• LPN license or MA certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Admit patients by collecting history, allergies and home meds.
• Assist in discharge planning and wheelchair transport.
• Provide direct care in a safe, comforting environment.
• Maintain competency with clinical equipment.
• Document abnormal observations to the RN promptly.
• Assist with skin care and wound management under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and standard precautions.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Provide BLS and ACLS under supervision in emergencies.
• Perform Point of Care procedures per policy and QC standards.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures.
