Job summary

Mercy Health – Springfield Regional Medical Center is seeking an LPN for acute care. The LPN delivers safe patient care under the supervision of RN/physician and performs nursing tasks within the LPN scope.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited LPN program, state LPN licensure, and ideally BLS. EPIC EHR experience and telemetry familiarization are preferred. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited LPN program.
• Current state LPN licensure or LPN applicant.
• BLS certification preferred.
• One year of clinical patient care experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision.
• Carry out the plan of care per LPN scope.
• Perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Contribute to care planning with patients and family.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• All other duties as assigned.
