As a Registered Nurse in the Acute Care SRO Float Pool, you will provide direct patient care, adapt to different populations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support staffing needs, delivering care per evidence-based standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
• Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
• Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple Acute General Medicine and specialty units.
• Adapt quickly to different patient populations, workflows, and interdisciplinary team dynamics.
• Deliver care aligned with evidence-based practice and UVA Health standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support staffing needs across high-demand areas, making a system-wide impact on patient care delivery.
