UVA Health, a nationally recognized academic medical center, seeks an experienced RN for the Acute Care SRO Float Pool to provide direct patient care across multiple units. You will adapt to varied patient populations and workflows, delivering evidence-based care in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Active RN license in Virginia.
• AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple Acute General Medicine and specialty units.
• Adapt quickly to different patient populations, workflows, and interdisciplinary team dynamics.
• Deliver care aligned with evidence-based practice and UVA Health standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support staffing needs across high-demand areas, making a system-wide impact on patient care delivery.
