Capital Region Health is seeking an experienced Acute Care Emergency Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in Largo, Maryland. This full‑time day position supports trauma, acute care surgery, and critically ill patients, with opportunities to assist across multiple surgical services and cross‑training across APP lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and graduation from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification and Maryland licensure.
• ATLS certification required (or may be obtained after hire); BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsabilités

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care to critically ill surgical patients.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, and coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
• Round daily and manage trauma and acute surgical patients throughout hospitalization.
• First assist in the operating room and perform advanced procedures as credentialed.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and patient safety goals.
