SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium is seeking a CNA Ward Clerk in Acute Care to provide essential nursing assistance to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Under RN direction, you will perform basic care, monitor patients, and assist with telemetry and pre/post-operative tasks.

This role requires CNA certification and an Alaska license or eligibility, plus BLS within 3 months. You will work in a dynamic team, promote safety, and support patient transport and daily unit operations,

Qualifikationen

• Must have CNA certification and Alaska license or eligible to obtain Alaska license within 6 months.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire and updated biannually.
• At least 1 year of CNA experience preferred; telemetry and unit-specific training may be required.

Aufgaben

• Provide bedside nursing care: baths, hygiene, feeding assistance, mobility, and positioning.
• Monitor vital signs and report deviations to RN; document findings.
• Assist with telemetry, EKGs, and patient monitoring; prepare patients for procedures and medevac as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized patient areas; respond to call lights and transport patients as required.
• Participate in training, rounds, and care conferences; adhere to SEARHC standards.
