Job summary

Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals in Oklahoma is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support professional nursing staff in an acute care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, provide personal care, and help ensure patient comfort and safety under supervision.

The role requires a Nursing Assistant certification, BLS, and at least six months of experience in acute or long-term care, with fluent English and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required (preferred).
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Minimum six months’ experience in acute or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area.
• Help patients with activities of daily living and personal care, under supervision.
• Record vital signs and document accurately; communicate with RN.
• Prepare patient room, admit/transfer/discharge support, position and transport patients as needed.
• Respond to patient call lights and assist with meals.
