Qualifications

• Active valid CNA certificate in Maine.
• BLS certification within 1 year of hire and maintained thereafter.
• Completes CNA basic rhythms review.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient safety and abides by the patient fall risk program and completes fall risk rounding at least twice per shift.
• Obtains and documents vital signs and reports abnormal findings to patient’s nurse.
• Performs daily weights and reports abnormal findings to patient’s nurse.
• Documents ADLs, ambulation, intake/output, vital signs, weights, safety rounding, and any other patient care activities.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides necessary supplies.
• Assists in ambulating patient according to physician order.
