Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities, ensuring delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise assigned staff, assisting with orientation and performance evaluations.
• Manage staffing, supplies, and patient triage, and address performance issues as needed.
• Communicate care activities, policies, and unit issues to relevant personnel, supporting evidence-based practices and professional growth.
• Mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize resource use.
• Handle patient and family concerns, follow incident reports, and ensure proper documentation.
• Contribute to policy formulation and uphold Magnet principles such as a healthy work environment and patient involvement.
