Be part of Baptist Health Shelby Hospital in Alabaster, AL as a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager (CANM). This full-time PM position leads shift operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, smooth patient flow, and exceptional customer experience within a fast-paced acute care setting.

The CANM collaborates with nursing leadership, assigns staff based on acuity, and supports staff development while maintaining regulatory readiness and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) preferred.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Alabama or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certification in area of expertise may be required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC optional.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure delivery of high-quality care, customer experience, and patient flow.
• Coordinate with Nursing Operations Managers to assign care, monitor patient status, and support staff performance.
