Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Maryland NP licensure with ACNP/AG-ACNP consideration.
• Minimum five years in acute/critical care settings or preop center.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and histories.
• Develop and implement individualized perioperative care plans.
• Administer anesthesia and provide perioperative care.
• Monitor patients in critical care settings for safety.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative recovery.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to improve care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and learning.
