Job summary

Summit BHC's Raleigh Oaks Behavioral Health in Garner, NC seeks an RN Supervisor-Nurse to lead and supervise direct care nursing staff in acute behavioral health. You will oversee unit coverage, ensure adherence to nursing standards, and drive patient care excellence.

The role requires a BSN (preferred), state RN license, and at least two years of RN experience, including behavioral health; CPR and de-escalation training required.

Qualifications

• RN with valid license in state or compact.
• Minimum two years' RN experience.
• Experience in behavioral health required.

Responsibilities

• Provide, delegate, coordinate and evaluate patient care per nursing process and standards of care.
• Identify issues and collaborate with leaders.
• Update and revise the plan of care as needed.
• Ensure comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
• Coordinate nursing, medical and behavioral health care activities.
• Administer medications and maintain records.
• Perform rounds and supervise staff.
