Work180, based in the United States, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join the award-winning service team at Carter Motors. You will perform repairs and diagnostics using state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring exceptional service delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are preferred.
• Must have a strong automotive background.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, reference check & drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services.

Automotive Technician

Carter Acura is looking to add a Technician to our award-winning service team! Our service team won the Elite Service Award for 2023 and is one of the only NSX-certified shops in the state. Our shop has state-of-the-art equipment with built-in toolboxes, new alignment racks and tire machines, and a brand new locker room. Experience is required, ASE certifications are preferred but not required.

Pay is flat rate, $28 - $45 depending on experience and certifications. Bonus structure based on production. Tools are required.

Schedule: 5 8's rotating schedule. Must be able to work Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership procedures
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

Qualifications

• Acura/Honda experience preferred
• Proven technician experience is required
• ASE certifications are preferred
• Tools are required
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission
• Strong automotive background is preferred
• Strong teamwork skills
• WA state driver's license is required
• Clean & Clear WA state driving record is required
• Pre-employment background check, reference check & drug screen is required
