Harper Acura in Knoxville, TN is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Honda/Acura service, perform repairs on repair orders, and diagnose necessary work with efficiency and precision.

Responsibilities include test-driving vehicles, diagnosing systems with diagnostic tools, and completing repairs per manufacturer specs. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• Honda/Acura Experience.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity and steady hand, good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and collaborate well.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work per service orders and dealership guidelines.
• Test-drive vehicles and inspect components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and time estimates.
• Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
