Job summary

Pine Services seeks an Acumatica Solutions Developer Lead to own technical solutioning conversations with clients from requirements through delivery. You will mentor a small development team and balance billable client work with directing project execution.

This player-coach role emphasizes strong technical depth in Acumatica (C#, SQL Server) and a track record of guiding teams to high-quality results. Remote work is expected, with preference for Eastern/Central time zones.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on Acumatica development experience (C#, SQL Server) including APIs and integrations.
• Acumatica certification, or deep experience in Acumatica implementation consulting with strong technical depth.
• Direct experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders, not just from tickets or specs.
• Proven ability to push back on client requests when a simpler or better solution exists with concrete examples.
• Experience mentoring or reviewing work of other developers.
• Fluency with AI coding and productivity tools to improve customization workflows.
• Understanding of core business processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients post-handoff to clarify requirements for Acumatica customizations and provide business-driven rationale when needed.
• Translate business requirements into clear, buildable technical designs and specifications.
• Develop customizations, extensions, and integrations when fastest path to result.
• Direct, oversee, and review the work of other developers on customization projects.
• Use AI tools (Claude, Copilot) to write specs, generate/review code, and modernize customizations.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architecture and Consulting on scoping and delivery for larger engagements.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for client customization conversations and set clear expectations.
