Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Design Engineer in Monroe, WA to develop and manage complex actuation designs and analysis. You will work with CATIA/V5, SolidWorks, and related tools to create, test, and certify hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems.

The role requires collaboration across engineering teams and suppliers to deliver robust solutions. The position is a 6+ month contract with a pay range of $70-100 per hour.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field as listed above.
Demonstrated technical leadership and teamwork abilities.
Experience with CAD tools and design analysis packages.

Responsibilities

Support new product design and sustaining designs.
Coordinate with engineering groups to develop and status assignments.
Complete development, design, testing and certification for new or modified designs.
Initiate designs or improvements using CATIA V5/V6 or SolidWorks with emphasis on modeling/drafting.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve technical problems and discuss supplier issues.
Coordinate work with engineering support groups and production departments.
