WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

We have assignments available to assist our insurance carrier clients in Actuary or Associate Actuary positions. Responsibilities include:

• Perform pricing studies to evaluate the profitability of insurance products, conduct competitor analysis, and perform trend analysis on claims data.
• Analyze rating variables and recommend pricing adjustments.
• Participate in rate reviews, modeling projects, budgets, and price monitoring.
• Assist in assessing experience, source of earnings, reserve adequacy, and developing reserve assumptions.
• Develop rating methodologies for existing and new products.
• Extract and manipulate data using relational databases; SAS, SQL, R, or Python preferred.
• Apply statistical techniques to build predictive models for underwriting or claims issues.
• ACAS or FCAS designation is preferred but not required.

TO BECOME A WORK-AT-HOME VINTAGE EXPERT, WE REQUIRE

• 25 years of full-time work experience.
• Most recent 10 years of actuarial insurance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or a related field.
