Job summary

MassMutual is seeking an Actuary to join the Institutional Insurance Product & Pricing team in Boston, MA or Springfield, MA. The role focuses on pricing and product management for BOLI/COLI products and involves actuarial analysis, modeling, and risk assessment to ensure competitive, profitable growth.

The position requires FSA completion and at least 5 years of actuarial experience, with strong Excel and Moody’s Axis skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, or related field; FSA designation preferred.
• FSA designation and 5 years actuarial experience are expected; advanced modeling skills valued.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead pricing, filing, and product changes for BOLI/COLI offerings.
• Build and maintain pricing and risk models for institutional insurance products.
• Lead pricing reviews with Corporate Actuarial, ERM, and stakeholders; determine new business and in-force crediting rates.
• Develop experience assumptions for BOLI/COLI products and monitor in-force experience.
