Job summary

National Life Group in Addison, TX, is seeking a Senior Actuary to lead design, pricing, and modeling for indexed and fixed annuities. You will collaborate with Life & Annuity Solutions, Distribution/Field Leaders, and Marketing to align products with strategic goals.

The role emphasizes pricing, actuarial support for filings, and collaboration across stakeholders; onsite four days per week with core days Mon–Thu, with schedule subject to change.

Qualifications

• FSA or career ASA designation from the Society of Actuaries.
• Minimum of 6 years actuarial experience with in-depth knowledge of annuity products and benefits.
• Strong MG-ALFA modeling experience and regulatory knowledge.
• Ability to work with leadership and multiple stakeholders on product design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing results and sensitivity analyses to senior actuaries and committees.
• Present product features and actuarial results to leadership and project teams.
• Review experience studies and set pricing assumptions.
• Prepare materials for state approvals and actuarial reports.
• Mentor actuarial students/analysts as needed.
